World Book Day Poetry Slam: Young Poets Shine on Stage!
Rumboldswhyke Church of England Primary School celebrated World Book Day in a truly creative way this year, hosting an exciting Poetry Slam that brought words to life! Children from all year groups took to the stage to recite a favourite poem or showcase their own original creations.
The event was filled with passion, rhythm, and imagination as young poets explored everything from classic verses to their own unique storytelling. Whether performing well-loved poetry or crafting brand-new masterpieces, every child had the chance to express themselves and share their love of words.
One standout performance came from Leo, who captivated the audience with his inspiring and heartfelt poem. His powerful words and expressive delivery made a lasting impression on everyone present.

A huge well done to all the young poets who took part—you truly made World Book Day special! Keep writing, keep performing, and most of all, keep loving poetry! 🎤📖✨
